I was expecting everything than what I saw yesterday! I’m talking about “South Park” live show in “Just for laugh” festival. They started the show talking to the ausiences with the familiar voice of “Scott the d.ick” and arose the audiences cheers in the beginning. They (Trey Parker and Matt Stone, both creators of the show since 1997) sang some songs using the language they use in the show (curse language of course) and talked about things happened during the production of “South Park” and “Team America”. I was expecting them to dub an episode live but I guess it needs a lot of effort so they prefered talk about the show and make some of the voices and sing some songs such as “Cartman’s song about Kyle’s Mom!”.
Anyways, in general, I’m happy with the money I paid for the ticket. It was worth it.
I’m almost settled now. I have unpacked all my boxes now (but one for my bookshelf yet) and tide up my room and vacuumed it. We are getting ready for this weekend’s BBQ party. It’s actually a house warming party and our first experience of having party together. I guess we’ll have around 25 to 30 guests. We will have sausages, hamburgers, steaks, shrimp and maybe kabab to BBQ.
Tomorrow is the opening day of “Just for laugh” festival here in Montreal. I’m looking forward to go to “Maz Jobrani’s” stand up. Also the “South Park” crew will be here this year and will perform a live dubbing and I guess that would be fun too. I hope I can make both.
Watch this video. This is all about aged tires and their threats to drivers’ lives.
Please take this serious! My cousin passed away exactly because of the same reason! It was a horrible accident! The only survivor said the car was tossing in the air like a dice and being smashed to the ground several times!
I can not believe what I saw today! It wasn’t Dutch at all !!! But I believe they used to make people disappointed when everything seems to be well ! Like Portuguese and Spain! These teams play awesome, they are full of stars they start very well but they stuck in the middle of tournament! We should see what Spain will do tomorrow against Italy! Statistics show Spain must win the game, but who knows!
I had predicted we will see Spain, Turkey, Germany and Netherlands in semi-final, I was right about Turkey and Germany but Netherlands made me disappointed today! They showed their weakest play ever! They were walking all game long! since the opening goal, they looked tired! I’m not ignoring Russians play! They were awesome today but if Netherlands was the same Netherlands against Italy and France and even if it was the same as their second team against Romania they wouldn’t loose the game like that! Three to one! it’s unbelievable! Anyways, though there is still Germany that I cheer for, but the rest of the tournament won’t be that exciting for me!
Netherlands didn’t rock today! It sucked I believe!
“The Times” has publicized it’s archive online for free. You can simply go there, register in a 4 steps procedure that takes less than couple of minutes, then use the incredible archive since 1785 to 1985. They have scanned all the pages of the newspaper during these three centuries and made it search-able by both keyword and date range. All of the good (if any) and bad things happened to the world during last three centuries like the battle of Waterloo, the assassination of president Abraham Lincoln, World war one and two, etc.. have been archived in “The Times” and can be accessed by a few clicks!
Tonight, I was reading an article about the night Adolf Hitler addressed the big demonstration in Germany and it was being concerned as a new fascist threat! I don’t know if the writer of the article even could imagine the guy who he was writing about would start the most deadliest war ever in less then a year, which lead to greatest changes in political structure of the world!
Of course this archive can not be considered as a source of historical facts because I’m not sure if they used to write about facts rather than those artifacts they liked to be assumed as facts in future but at least it could be used as a time line of the history of last three centuries.

Italy has been defeated yesterday by orange jersey guys! Dutches! Netherlands, beat the blue shirt crew with 3 goals! An ever expecting dreamy game!
Italy is always known for their multi-layer defence line which is very hard to get through! But yesterday, this defence line has been turned to their Achilles heel! Dutches could pass them as easy as possible!
In the other game of this so called “beyond death” group (group C) France and Romania got even after 90 minutes chasing the ball!
I started biking tonight. That was not bad for the first time this year. I biked around 45 minutes, but not heavy biking (I avoid biking on steep streets). It’s very warm and humid here in Montreal so I have to be careful until I get in shape. Tomorrow will be around 31 degree in centigrade and 80% humidity. I’m not sure if that would be ideal situation for playing soccer, though we will show up! I hope we don’t have that much problem.
This Saturday (June 7th) is the starting day of the one of the most famous sport tournaments, Euro 2008. As you all might know, this is a soccer tournament among qualified national teams in European Football Confederation (UEFA). There are 16 qualified national teams participating in this tournament this year and just one of those teams will be the happy team after all the games done, because in this tournament there is not any runner up team.
This year Germany (with the most appearances among all European teams), Italy, and France, I guess have the most chance to bring the cup back home. Last tournament (2004), Greece won the cup but all we know about their defensive style of playing and for sure this year all the teams have some strategies facing this kind of playing. Netherlands is one of the most amazing teams with lots of stars but they showed before they have a little chance winning these kind of cups. This tournament will be jointly hosted by Switzerland and Austria. This is the first appearance for Austria in this tournament so we shouldn’t expect a magic but they have the hosting advantage that is not ignorable.
Unfortunately, here in North America, none of the free air channels will cover the games and just some of cable networks will show them. I hope I can use our own national TV channels via internet to follow the games.
I should start collecting card board boxes for moving. I’m moving at the end of June (around 28-29 ish). Adrian has rented a 14 ft truck for almost 12 hours starting at 6 in the evening but it cost 160-180 CADs. I guess that’d be fun moving at midnight! coz we have the truck from 6 PM till 7 AM next day! I think we all can keep our own furniture, that’s a good news.
Tomorrow is Adrian’s and Euan’s B’Day. We are supposed to go to a portuguese place. I’ve made three T-shirts of “South Park” characters. Kyle for Adrian (coz I know he likes Kyle more), Eric Cartman for myself (coz I love it) and Stan Marsh for Euan. I hope they like them.
It might happen to you, when you’re browsing a weblog, suddenly a music track starts playing and if you are not that lucky and your speaker volume is turned up, that would be a very good shock! Although, the music track is one your favorites, you will look for the player in the page to shut it down! Some people hide the player somewhere in the page to make you confused enough to give up looking for it or some others put a tiny tiny player at the end of the page, so you should scroll the whole page down to find the player and turn it off!
OK., you wanna put a music track on your page, that’s fine, but give the right to the reader if he/she wants to listen to the music track or not! Put the player somewhere the reader can find it easily and don’t start playing it spontaneously when your page being opened.
